It is always very honoured to be able to offer new and exciting wedding venues for our lovely customers and today we are very pleased to offer a new service, we will be working closey with a local boat company based in Nerja to be able to offer you two exciting opportunities.
Boat Weddings: The boat can cater for up to 50 guests for your wedding onboard a fabulous boat that is simply beautiful. You and your guests get to step aboard and cruise about the beautiful Spanish coastline whilst you exchange your wedding vows, listen to the speeches, enjoy the cake cutting moment and then dance into the evening as you watch the sun set over the sea whilst enjoying a glass or two of bubbly - Sounds PERFECT right?
Day trips day before or day after your wedding: We are also pleased to offer you the opportunity to relax onboard either the day before or after your wedding celebrations and unwind with your family and friends and enjoy that Spanish sunshine. You will climb aboard and get comfortable whilst you cruise around the Spanish coastline taking in the fantastic scenery Spain has to offer. This a perfect way to just sit back and relax.

One of our services your wedding cake, we work with a range of local cake suppliers that create the most amazing wedding cakes custom to each of our couples. They will discuss with you all your requirements and any dietary needs and then create the perfect cake which you will not be disappointed with.
Have you decided yet what type of wedding cake you would like for your wedding in Spain? With so many different options to choose from it can be a hard decision. Do you have sponge or maybe chocolate or do you stick with a traditional and go with fruit?.... but no need to worry we are here to help!

We are very lucky to work with plenty of amazing wedding venues in Southern Spain from hotels to villas to historic properties. Choosing the right wedding venue can be a hard decision with this much choice but im sure you will know when you find the perfect wedding venue to celebrate your special day in Spain.
Today we are show casing you our fantastic 17th Century Convent that has now be converted into a luxury Hotel. This venue is truly amazing and with its stunning grounds, breath taking views and ample photo opportunties it is one not to be missed.
This Venue has so much to offer with its neogothic tower and a lovely courtyard that is perfect for your wedding banquet.
The gardens are beautiful and will definately make some amazing weddings photos, there is also plenty of space to have your ceremony on the lawn or even your wedding banquet on one of the other terraces around the grounds. The gardens also backs onto the forest which is great for exploring.
There are 23 bedrooms that are decorated to a high standard, all en-suite. There are also indoor banqueting rooms if you would prefer to hold your wedding banquet inside.
Plus a swimming pool to dipping your toes in and also you can get some FAB photos around it too.
There is also a restaurant onsite which created the most amazing mediterranean cusine for your wedding day.
The Hotel is situtated in Castellar de la Frontera, a lovely old village perched on a hill top in the province of Cadiz, it is 20 minutes away from Gibralter Airport or 1hour and 30 minutes to Malaga.

Looking back on some wonderful 2017 memories we had a pleasure of working with many amazing couples in plenty of fantastic venues across Southern Spain.
One of our lovely 2017 couples was Sam and Matthew who chose to get married at our venue Casa De Los Bates hotel which is a truly beautiful venue blessed with history, beautiful views and plenty of space for your ceremony and wedding banquet.

With 2019 fast approaching, I thought I would share with you some of the fantastic wedding trends that you will be sure to see you in 2019. I am sure if you are getting married next year that you have already started planning your dream wedding, but sometimes when you see new things that you may haven't come across already you might want to just change a few of the smaller details in your wedding plans to ensure that you have everything you have ever dreamed off.
So with this in mind here are a few trends that are heading your way for 2019.....

Today's blog is all about a wonderful venue that is full of elegance and romance and is truly one not to be missed. The Palacio in Malaga has been transformed into a sought-after wedding venue and offers exclusive hire for your wedding day.
When hiring this venue you have exclusive use of the palace and its stunning gardens. This venue truly has so much to offer not only the beauty of the venue inside and out but also the amazing gardens and we can not forget those AMAZING views.
The gardens are perfect to get some amazing wedding photos with over 30,00m2 to explore plus plenty of space to hold your ceremony and wedding banquet. Using the venue grounds you can host a wedding of up to 200 guests. There is also a lovely marquee which holds 150 guests which is perfect if your planning a winter wedding when the evenings drop in temperature slightly. Making this wedding venue suitable for all year round weddings.
The build itself is very grand and as you walk up those stairs with your red carpet entrance you walk into a beauiful building with its lovely decor creating a warm and romantic feel.

With social media a growing trend it is no wonder couples are using it even on their wedding day and also to the build up of the wedding.
There are many different social media apps that you can make use for your wedding day, including Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.
Instagram is all about pictures and is a FAB app you can use for your wedding. You can make use of this for your up and coming wedding and also on the day of the wedding, you can create your own page with a hashtag - for example #beckyandbendecember2018, of course you can get as creative as you want with the hashtag, then invite your wedding guests to join the page, you can post pictures on there for the count down to the wedding and then on the day people can upload their wedding photos they take by tagging you on on either the page name or the #tag.
Snapchat is a huge trend now and I would say it is one of the most popular apps that people are using, its an instant message or picture that can last sometimes only hours. The new trend for snapchat for the wedding industry is creating a geofilter for yoru wedding day and your guests can then upload photos onto snapchat to share with fellow guests using your own personalised wedding frame. You have to pay for this frame and cost varies on what you choose for the frame and how fancy you go. You can also choose how long the images stay around on snapchat from 1 day - 30 days. Just remember that if have to save anyone of fun memories of the evenings celebrations as it will only be on there for the time that has been requested.
Facebook is still very popular and is used across all ages, however stats do show that with snapchat and instagram taking front lead on the social media apps. However with a wider percentage of your guests more than likely to be on Facebook rather than Instagram and Snapchat, Facebook could be the better social media app to use on your wedding day. You can either create you own group or wedding page where you can invite all your wedding guests, you can then use this for sharing information on the up and coming wedding and also on the day of the wedding, where people can upload the photos they take of the day giving you access to all the photos taken througout the day.
So just remember if you are planning on bring social media into your wedding day then make sure you guests are aware of it so you can use its full potential. You could have a sign up that shows the information of what social media page you are using and a brief instruction, you could also put the information into your wedding invites so people can be prepared before the day.

Hannah and Geryn had a wonderful wedding day surrounded by their family and friends at the FABULOUS Tennis Club in Spain.
As Hannah got ready, Geryn and their guests enjoyed the stunning venues surroundings and the Spanish sunshine beating down on them.
They took their seats on the lawn space where Geryn waiting eagerly for Hannah to make her entrance and walk down that wedding aisle ready to say I DO.
Hannah looked absolutely stunning, they exchanged their wedding vows infront of their family and friends with a superb backdrop.
After the ceremony they all took to a lovely terrace area where they enjoyed a drink or two and mingled amoungst themselves. Hannah and Geryn slipped away with their wedding photographer Pierre to capture some magical wedding photos within the venues grounds. This venue has such beautiful grounds giving Pierre and his lovely couple the opportunity to take advantage of them.
This venue is simply breathtaking and with a choice of your wedding banquet outside on the lawns or inside a lovely reception room that overlooks the swimming pool you will be spoilt for choice. The venue prides themselves on delivering a fantastic service, working together with our wedding planner and suppliers your wedding day will be simply perfect.
There is no accomodation on-site as this venue but its not far from Benalmadena that offers plenty of options for you and your guests to stay.
Geryn and Hannah enjoyed the venue grounds and reception room for the banquet and evening celebrations, with the speeches completed and cake cut it was time for their first dance as Husband and Wife, they took to the floor with everyone one in awe of them. They all the guests took to the floor and enjoyed the evening celebrations with plenty of laughter.

Ciara and Michael enjoyed a wonderful Spanish wedding surrounded by their Family and Friends. Their day was fillled with plenty of laughter, happy tears and memories to last a life time.
Their ceremony was at the stunning Almunecar church a wonderful Spanish church that is full of history and charm and is truly a magical place for holding your wedding. As the guests found a sit, Michael waited patiently at the alter for his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle.
After a lovely and moving ceremony Ciara, Michael and their guests made there way to our popular wedding venue Casa de los Bates for the reception and evening celebrations.

Aimee and Mark had a wonderful wedding in sunny Spain that was surrounded by their close family and friends. The day was filled with plenty of laughter and many memories.
They chose to get married at the stunning Hotel Cortijo Bravo venue, which is a lovely boutique hotel situated in the Spanish countryside, the perfect backdrop for their wedding celebrations.
As Mark waited patiently to see his stunning bride-to-be walk down the aisle, their guests took their seats and took in the beautiful surroundings. Aimee looked stunning in her dress as she walked down the aisle ready to married her true love.
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a few drinks on the terrace, whilst Aimee and Mark slipped away with their photographer Ruth Blamire-Brown to take some spectucular photos. The grounds of this venue are simply stunning and provide plenty of opportunities for your wedding photos.
This beautiful hacienda is situated in the centre of Malaga and offers a great venue to hold your wedding ceremony and reception, it is a new venue that has been added to our already amazing collection of stunning wedding venues in Southern Spain.
The venue is a stunning 18th Century Palace that keeps all of its original features and fittings to create an elegant and classy wedding venue in Spain.
There is ample space to have your ceremony and wedding banquet here, with three beautiful dining rooms to choose from all in keeping with the 18th Century era with the decor and colours.
There is then a further hall, chapel, the old Kitchen and Winery all perfect for your wedding, these areas have more of a 19th Century atmosphere to the rooms.
There is also a glass covered pergola which is stunning and perfect for dining in the lush gardens but under cover for those cooler days, this area can seat up to 600 guests.

Chris and Mark got married at the stunning Casa de los Bates venue, a wonderful 18th Century country house that enjoys lovely views of the Spanish countryside.
There day was truly amazing, surrounded by their Family and Friends they exchanged their vows in the secret garden which was magical and then enjoyed their wedding banquet on the terrace area that is lined with beautiful trees and Fountains.

This villa is simply stunning and is set in the Spanish countryside that enjoys spectucular views and peace and quiet. The villa is exclusively yours on your wedding day, with wonderful gardens to be enjoyed for your ceremony and wedding banquet that can cater for up to 120 guests or you can enjoy the function room inside which can cater for 50 guests.
The interior of the villa is decorated to a high standard and enjoys a lovely rustic charm, there is also 6 bedrooms to take advantage of for you and a few guests and then further accomodation can be found at the nearby hotel that is just 2km away.
The gardens are beautiful and offer you a swimming pool and terrace areas, you will be sure to capture plenty of memorable wedding photos at this venue with a range of backdrops to compliment them.
The villa is situated 35 minutes from Malaga airport and only 10 minutes away from the beautiful town of Mijas making it a FAB location for your wedding in Spain.
