Meet Liz Wilkinson - Malaga Wedding Celebrant
Having worked with Liz for many, many years, she was a natural choice to be one of the first people to be invited to write a blog in our new "Meet The Supplier" blog series! Below she describes herself and her business in her own words!
A bit about me, my name is Liz Wilkinson,
I was brought up in Norway, Holland and various countries, as my Father worked for an international company.
My Grandparents were from Wales and Ireland so I have some Welsh and Irish in my blood!!! I have a BA Honors degree from Guildhall University in London and years of experience to make your day special.
I have lived in many countries so can incorporate French, Spanish or Dutch into your ceremony, if you wish. I lived in Saudi Arabia for a while but didn’t quite grasp Arabic!
Couples often ask what I do in my spare time and in the winters. In the summers I love to explore the coastline as I kitesurf, I love the feeling of freedom. There are some stunning beaches running up the coast to Cadiz
In the winters I teach skiing. So if you fancy getting married on the slopes or out at sea I can also help with that!!!
I have officiated hundreds of Wedding ceremonies here in the Costa del Sol. From Nerja to Cadiz! Humanist style ceremonies and independent ceremonies meaning I am not affiliated with any faith so there are no limits to your ceremony.
It can be totally bespoke, with your characters and personalities shining through. If you wish to include any religion this of course can be accommodated.
You might want to express your vows to each other in your own words. You might want to be formal, or thoroughly informal. Traditional or light-hearted! You might want the special part of the ceremony to be shared by many friends and family or a select few. With my experience I will guide you through choosing your Wedding Vows, Wedding Rituals and Wedding Readings that are perfect for you .
I can send examples of readings: some more quirky and some more traditional. Readings are a great way to include friends and family in your ceremony. There are even examples for children’s readings.

Having worked on the Costa del Sol for over 14 years I have worked at many of the venues in Malaga, Granada, Cadiz and other venues in Andalucia. So I have experience in how the ceremonies work at particular venues and how to enable them to flow naturally.
